Armon R Perry
Armon R. Perry, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work whose scholarship focuses on Black families, fatherhood, relationships, and the experiences of Black men. He is the author of Black Love Matters: Authentic Men’s Voices on Marriages and Romantic Relationships, an exploration of Black men’s perspectives on love, intimacy, marriage, masculinity, family, and the experiences that shape their romantic relationships. Perry is also co-editor of Fatherhood in America: Social Work Perspectives on a Changing Society, and his research has contributed to broader conversations about fatherhood, family well-being, and healthy relationships within Black communities.
